Bleeding Control PSA Airs on CBS

The cast of the CBS TV show "Code Black" is promoting the Stop the Bleed initiative through a public service announcement (PSA) that aired October 12 at the show's conclusion. The initiative is designed to teach the public how to save lives by taking specific actions to stop life-threatening bleeding. Bleeding control kits—which include gloves, bleeding control dressing, and a tourniquet—are displayed and demonstrated in various episodes of the show and in the PSA. The PSA is part of the CBS Cares campaign.
